Volunteer With Us

Would you like to become a volunteer and join our Frame Running community?

Are you passionate, energetic and want to make a difference in the lives of children with a disability?

Do you want to learn how to interact with children with a disability?

Do you want to support your local community?

This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to make a difference. You will also receive training and mentoring and join an organisation dedicated to providing a fun, engaging, sporting opportunity to promote social inclusion for children with disabilities.

Frame Running Wollongong is a not-for-profit organisation and a unique community sporting service enriching the lives of children with a disability or impaired balance by participating in Frame Running. We are the only organisation in the Illawarra region providing this opportunity and a sporting outlet where the children feel safe, secure, supported, and equal on custom-designed 3-wheel bikes.

The program runs every Monday afternoon (during the school term) at the Sports Hub at the University of Wollongong. Each session is designed by a paediatric physiotherapist and educator and tailored to suit the children’s needs and abilities. Sessions involve activities including helping the children move around cones and using the frame runner as support to stand and play throwing and catching games.

With Your help, anyone can run.
